Annas RECIPE for you:

RECIPE DELIGHT Balls By Anna Comerford

Please note: Cocoa has caffeine in it so it may affect sleep in people who are sensitive to it. Eat them earlier in day so caffeine not affect your deep sleep.

*** Double mixture and freeze them as they are great to have for breakfast with a piece of fruit and a celery stick or other raw vegetable.

Ingredients: Use organic where possible

Chia seeds (put 2 tablespoons ¼ cup water & soak for 10 mins till becomes thicker as this helps bind ingredients)

  • ½ cup Walnuts
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • ¾ cup sunflower seeds
  • ¾ cup pumpkin seeds
  • ¼ cup flaxseeds
  • I cup shredded/desiccated coconut. Roll Bliss balls in desiccated coconut so have extra on hand.
  • ½ cup organic cocoa powder (or less if you wish)
  • 2/3 cup organic sultanas (or use dates, goji berries or other dried fruit)
  • 1 or 2 teaspoons of cinnamon - if desired
  • 2 heaped tablespoon tahini
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional)
  • ¼ cup organic honey
  • ¼ cup approx. Water (cooled down boiled water is cleaner to use)

TIP: Heat coconut oil & honey together if they are a bit hard. Put on stove top or in microwave for 30 seconds.

Put in above ingredients in a Food processor. (Do in 2 batches if need be.) Add peppermint oil drops if you want a peppermint flavour.

I find it quick to mix in a bowl by hand.

ROLL mixture into balls. Add more water so mixture is a bit sticky. This makes it easier for coconut to stick on outside of the DELIGHT balls!

Roll in desiccated coconut and Enjoy!

Good News: Cocoa also has magnesium and iron in it!
